Seneca woman injured in collision on 43

A Seneca woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision 6:34 a.m. Thursday on MO 43, one mile south of Seneca.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Mitsubishi Mirage driven by Jana A. Pflug, 36, Seneca, was stopped in the roadway to avoid hitting an animal when it was struck in the rear by a 2007 Chevrolet 2500 driven by Cade L. Cornett, 26, Seneca.

Pflug was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
