Carl Junction man airlifted to Springfield, Joplin woman suffers serious injuries in Gateway Drive collision

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 8:10 a.m. today on Gateway Drive two miles south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 BMW3 Series driven by Michael A. Holloway, 20, Carl Junction, failed to yield and made a left turn into the path of a 2013 Nissan Xterra driven by Rose C. Johnson, 24, Joplin.







Holloway was airlifted to Mercy Springfield with serious injuries.

Johnson was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Joplin.
