A Joplin man who was closing a gate was run over by a Kawasaki Brute Force 300 ATV that rolled downhill and struck him.
The accident occurred 3:25 p.m. today on 3025 Dove Drive two miles south of Joplin.
Timothy L. Ballard, 59, was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
