A Jasper man was airlifted to Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, with moderate injuries following an accident 2:15 p.m. today on Route EE four miles from Newtonia.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Kenworth driven by Orville D. Alberty, 73, Jasper, drove off the right side of the road and overturned into a tree.
