Joplin Police Officers have made an arrest today in an alleged rape that occurred in central Joplin around 2:00 P.M. today. The victim was a 44 year old female. The victim was taken for a SANE exam. The suspect was arrested a short distance from the scene and the investigation is still ongoing at this time.
