A Moundville man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 4:02 a.m. today on MO 43, eight miles north of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Ford F250 driven by Jarrek L. Rankin, 21, Moundville, ran off the roadway and overturned.
Rankin was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
In addition to DWI, Rankin was charged with failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and for having no proof of insurance.
