A Sarcoxie man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 9:35 a.m. today on MO 96, three miles east of Avilla.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a Chevrolet Venture van driven by Charles R. Turner, 76, Sarcoxie, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a culvert.
Turner was airlifted to Mercy Hospital, Joplin, where he was treated for serious injuries.
