Two Oronogo teens were injured in a two-vehicle accident 5:39 p.m. Friday at Split Rail Drive, one mile east of Carterville at Silverwood Lane.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Juliet M. McGowen, 17, Oronogo, and a 2001 Ford F150 driven by Clay E. Hensley, 16, Joplin, collided at an intersection with no traffic control.
McGowen and a passenger in her vehicle, Annie R. Outain, 16, Oronogo, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
