A Stella man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 2 a.m. today on Route K, seven miles east of Pineville.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1997 Ford Ranger driven by Lucas K. Launius, 25, Stella, ran off the roadway and overturned.
Launius was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
