A Joplin man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 5:45 p.m. Friday on Gum Road, five miles south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 GMC Yukon driven by Brent C. Ogle, 55, Joplin, ran off the right side of the roadway, then ran off the left side of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree.
Ogle was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
