Garden City woman in critical condition after accident at Newman and Goetz

On Friday September 15, 2017 at 9:28 p.m. officers responded to Newman and Goetz, to the west, for an injury crash. 

Emily M Davidson, 19, Walker, Missouri, was eastbound on Newman in a 2008 Dodge Caliber. She ran into the rear of an eastbound Tao Scooter driven by Keller S Hayes, 19, Harrisonville, Missouri with his passenger, Elly M Liebenguth, 18, from Garden City, Missouri. 

Hayes was transported by ambulance for moderate injuries. Liebenguth was transported by ambulance in critical condition. Davidson was not injured. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash. 

The Joplin Police Department Major Crash Investigation Team responded and it is under investigation.
