This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited excessive cold risk.
  Elevated ice accumulation risk.

DISCUSSION...

  Light freezing drizzle will begin to develop by midnight
  tonight and spreading southward as temperatures fall. Hazardous travel
  conditions on untreated and secondary roads are possible later
  tonight.

  Wind chills in the single digits are expected at times by late
  tonight into Saturday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

  Another round of light wintry mix with freezing drizzle, light
  freezing rain, light sleet, and light snow is expected this
  weekend. Light freezing drizzle will be ongoing Saturday
  morning over the area with the precipitation becoming more
  widespread on Saturday evening and continue into Sunday
  morning. Some sleet or snow may mix in at times, especially
  across central Missouri. General ice accumulations between one
  and two tenths of an inch are possible. Hazardous travel
  conditions on untreated and secondary roads are likely this
  weekend across the region.

  Wind chills in the single digits are expected at times this
  weekend.
