A Lamar child was injured in a one-vehicle accident 7:25 a.m. Monday 550 East U. S. Highway 160, four miles east of Lamar.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Chevrolet pickup driven by Chad M. Wolfe, 35, Lamar, backed over Braden M. Wolfe, 8, who was in the driveway.
The child was taken by private vehicle to Cox Barton County Hospital, Lamar, and then transported to Children's Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, to be treated for serious injuries.
