Missouri Farm Bureau donating food to Ronald McDonald House

In celebration of ‘Thank a Farmer’ week, February 4-10, Farm Bureau is donating food to Ronald McDonald House Charities throughout the state. News media in Columbia, Springfield, Joplin and Kansas City are invited to cover our annual delivery of food items by county Farm Bureau volunteers to their local Ronald McDonald Houses.

The donations are possible because of the generosity of Missouri Farm Bureau members who bring food items to the MFB Annual Meeting. The organization’s Promotion and Education Committee coordinates the collection and deliveries of food items which benefit families using Ronald McDonald House Charities as a ‘home-away-from-home’ while their seriously ill children receive treatment at local hospitals.

Media information packets will be available when county Farm Bureau leaders make the Ronald McDonald House deliveries at these locations and times:
