A Carthage man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 7:40 a.m. today on Newton Road, four miles north of Diamond.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Walter C. Wallace, 43, Webb City, failed to stop at a stop sign and pulled into the path of a 2005 Dodge Durango driven by Gregory A. Burken, 59, Carthage.
Burken was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
