Joplin Public Library (JPL) is continuing to ROCK! the summer with two more programs next week!
JPL will host flutist Mark “Wandering Bear” Barger for a Children’s program at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26. Mark will share Native American music through a variety of flutes and other percussion instruments. Children will be invited to be active participants in this program.
On Saturday, June 30, Kufara marimba band will provide an energetic musical performance with music influenced by the Zimbabwean culture. This program starts at 4 p.m. and is recommended for all ages.
