Jasper Police arrest Lamar woman with 3.5 grams of crystal meth

Possession of Controlled Substance

On Friday, June 8th, 2018 at 1343 hours, a Jasper officer initiated a traffic stop on the parking lot of Pete's Convenience Store located at Mercer St. and 6th St., Jasper, Missouri, on a white 2001 GMC Jimmy.

Contact was made with the driver, David Wunder of Kansas City, the front passenger, Miranda Vogel of Lamar, and the back left passenger, Ronald LeGrand of Lamar.

During the course of the stop, signs of being overly nervous for a routine traffic stop was observed. Vogel admitted to having methamphetamine on her person. A plastic wrapped package which contained about 3.5 grams of a crystal substance that later field tested positive for meth was seized.

Wunder was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic violations, then transported to the Jasper County jail.

Vogel was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, then transported to the Jasper County jail.
