According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Dodge Dakota driven by Clayton D. Burke, 19, Diamond, struck the rear of a 1998 Chevrolet 1500 driven by Jason L. Cooley, 44, Bella Vista, Arkansas, knocking the Cooley vehicle into the rear of a 2007 Chevrolet 1500 driven by Corey D. Payton, 27, Carthage.
Burke was treated for minor injuries at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
A passenger in the Cooley vehicle, Abbigale P. Cooley, 16, Bella Vista, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
