Newton County Sheriff, Seneca Police arrest Oklahoma residents on theft, weapons charges

On 12-11-18 Deputies from the Newton County Sheriff’s Office, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office and Officers from the Seneca Police Department working together recovered a stolen pickup truck and a stolen John Deere Gator.

Devan Paul Kramer, 22 years of age, was arrested when he arrived in Newton County to sell the John Deere following phone conversations with a buyer that was actually an officer.

To make matters worse the truck that he was pulling the John Deere with was stolen out of Jasper County. The Gator was stolen from Ottawa County.

Kramer was arrested on two counts of stealing, Unlawful Possession of a firearm and also had felony warrants from Oklahoma.



A passenger, Whitney Gonzalez, 26 years of age was arrested on Oklahoma warrants.

Both individuals were from Oklahoma.
