Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident 4:15 p.m. Monday on MO 43, eight miles north of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Toyota Scion driven by Derek J. Ramsey, 28, Belton, ran off the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
Ramsey was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Joplin.
A passenger, Melinda L. Ramsey, 51, Belton, was airlifted to Mercy to be treated for serious injuries.
