Four people were injured n a two-vehicle crash 3:31 p.m. today on Route YY, a half mile west of Carl Junction.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Hyundai Accent driven by Kathy R. MaCabe, 66, Frontenac, Kansas, westbound on Route Z, attemped to merge onto Route YY and pulled into the path of a 2016 Fiat 500 driven by Allison R. Rion, 15, Oronogo.
McCabe and a passenger in her vehicle, Connor J. Harryman, 9, Carl Junction, were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
Rion and a passenger in her vehicle, Ashleigh J. Rion, 24, Oronogo, were treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
