Cyber Awareness 360 training offered at Missouri Southern Small Business Center

The Missouri SBDC (Small Business Development Center) at Missouri Southern State University is offering its latest Cyber Awareness 360° training on Thursday, May 9, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the North End Zone Facility.

The event is free and coincides with the celebration of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2019 National Small Business Week.

Business owners, managers, human resource professionals, supervisors, leaders, or CEOs are encouraged to attend the training where the following will be discussed:

· Learn what's new in scamming

· How personal or company ID theft can impact your business

· Determine if you have been compromised and the next steps to take

· Network with industry professionals

· Hear best practices from industry professionals

· Optional dark web scans are available

About the MSSU SBDC

The Missouri SBDC at Missouri Southern State University is part of a nationwide network of Small Business Development Center programs and is affiliated with and supported by The Robert W. Plaster School of Business.

The local center was established in April 1987 and proudly serves Jasper, Newton, Barton, Lawrence, Cedar, Dade, McDonald, and Vernon counties in southwest Missouri.
