Carthage Paddle Battle is a homemade raft race fundraiser for Kellogg Lake Park. The event is free to all spectators. 25+ area businesses and organizations have already signed up to design, build and race their homemade rafts down the 1,000 ft river raceway.
Events kick off Friday, July 19 with a raft exposition and Audience Choice voting, food trucks, beer tent and live music from local musicians Out For A Ride and Cody Comer.
Saturday, July 20 at 10 am races commence every thirty minutes and continue throughout the day. Event leadership is halfway to their 50-team goal. More information, including sign-up sheets, safety measures, race rules, costs and more can be found on our Facebook page: Carthage Paddle Battle.
We need more teams and have extended the sign-up deadline until June 21, 2019.
