Fight between two women in Carl Junction, leads to shooting of one's husband by the other one's husband

On 7-1-20 at approximately 8:46 PM, Jasper County Deputies responded to a 911 call of an assault and a shooting at 6175 CL 278 in Carl Junction.

The initial information received stated there was a physical assault between two adult females and during this assault the husbands of the two females began to argue.

During the argument the homeowner told the other male to leave his property, the male did not leave and shots were fired from a handgun striking the male several times.

One male, 44, of Miami Oklahoma was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. There have been no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing. More information may be released when appropriate to do so.
