Noel man seriously injured in car-motorcycle collision

A Noel man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 5:19 p.m. Saturday on MO 90, east of MO 43 in Southwest City

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Honda Odyssey driven by Edwin R. Lopez, 43, Noel, yielded to westbound emergency vehicles by slowing and pulling over to the right and was struck from behind by a 2012 Harley Davidson vehicle driven by Darin L. Largent, 53, Noel.

Largent was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
