Three Bluejacket, Oklahoma residents were injured in a three-vehicle accident 4:18 p.m. Friday on MO 43, south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Dodge Dakota driven by Mark S. Hilderbrand, 62, Bluejacket, and a 2015 Nissan Armada driven by Angela D. Nesvold, 49, Seneca, began slowing due to traffic congestion.
A 2014 Chevrolet Impala driven by 17-year-old Seneca boy struck the Hilderbrand vehicle pushing it ino the Nesvold vehicle.
Hilderbrand and two passengers in his vehicle, Jan N. Hilderbrand, 47, and Sonja M. McMillan, 45, both of Bluejacket, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
