A Peace Corps recruiter will visit Missouri Southern State University on Friday, April 18.
Joe Zucchini, a field-based recruiter from St. Louis, will have an information table set up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. near the Lions Den in Billingsly Student Center. He will also present an information session at 2 p.m. in Room 106 of Webster Hall.
Graduating seniors are encouraged to attend either session, as the Peace Corps is filling remaining assignment openings for 2014.
Thirty Missouri Southern graduates have served in the Peace Corps since the agency was founded by President John F. Kennedy in 1961. Caitlan and Luke Smith, who graduated in December 2011, are currently teaching English in Rwanda.
