A Joplin woman and her nine-year-old passenger were injured in a two-vehicle accident 8 p.m. Saturday on Business Loop 49, one mile south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a 2002 Chevrolet truck driven by Casey L. Davis, 28, Bixby, Oklahoma, failed to yield to a 2000 Oldsmobile van driven by Misty L. Trejo, 30, Joplin.
Trejo and her passenger, Adonia Sliger, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
