This morning, at about 1:08 AM, one of our officers stopped a vehicle at 7th and Empire for traffic violations. The driver was arrested for driving while suspended and driving while intoxicated.
Yesterday evening at about 5:21 PM, one of our officers stopped a vehicle at 2nd and Forest for traffic violations. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated and had a blood alcohol content that was more than three times the legal limit.
We remind people to plan ahead and not drink and drive. We are always looking for impaired drivers.
