Crowder College will be hosting seventh grade students in a nontraditional career event at its Joplin Advanced Training and Technology Center and the MARET Center on Friday, Feb. 9.
The Joplin ATTC will host 90 students who will get a first-hand look at Mechatronics, Information Technology and Healthcare. The students attending are from Carl Junction, East Middle School, Greenfield, and Republic.
The MARET Center is provide facility tours and alternative energy demonstrations to thirty students from Carthage Jr. High.
This program is sponsored by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and is designed to engage seventh graders in activities that will expose them to nontraditional careers.
