Lamar man arrested for DWI, felony possession after falling asleep in car waiting for train to pass

On the evening of January 29, 2018 at about 11:36 p.m., officers with the Lamar Police Department were dispatched to 12th Street and MNA Rail Road tracks in reference to a check the well being of a motorist. 

Officers arrived on scene and contacted Alexander G. Chambers (23) of Lamar who had fallen asleep while waiting to the train to pass. 

During the investigation it was concluded that Mr. Chambers was impaired. Chambers was arrested and transported to the Barton County Sheriff's Office pending charges for Driving while intoxicated or impaired, driving while suspended or revoked, and felony possession of a controlled substance.
