This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated snow risk.
  Significant freeze risk.

DISCUSSION...

Bands of snow will continue to develop and track across
portions of the area. Locations along and northwest of a
Pittsburg KS and Warsaw MO line will see mainly snow with 1 to
2" of snow possible, mainly on elevated grassy surfaces, though
some slush slick spots are possible. Locations south to the
Highway 60 corridor will see more of a rain snow mix this
evening with some sleet possible at times. Far southern
Missouri will see mainly rain. The snow should generally end
from west to east late this evening into the early overnight
  hours.

Temperatures will fall below freezing across much of the area
  tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A very cold air mass will then move into the area on Friday
night with lows dipping into the teens to around 20. This will
end the growing season for those who had not had a hard freeze
  yet.

Another system will move in late in the weekend into early next
week with another chance of rain and snow.
