A baby was taken to Cox Barton County Memorial Hospital for observation following a two-vehicle accident 2:12 p.m. today on MO 43, 12 miles southwest of Lamar.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Pontiac driven by Becky K. Hill, 47, Columbua, Kansas, failed to yield at a stop sign and pulled into the path of a 2004 Oldsmobile driven by Jimmie G. Dye, 21, Nevada.
A passenger in the Dye vehicle, Kenze L. Dye, 0, suffered no visible injuries, but was taken to Cox Barton County for observation.
