OPENING & CLOSING DATES FOR CANDIDATES TO FILE FOR CITY COUNCIL
In accordance with provisions of the Neosho City Charter and Section 115.127(5), Chapter 115, of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, notice is hereby given that the opening filing date shall be 8:00 am, Tuesday, December 11, 2018, and the closing filing date shall be 5:00 pm, Tuesday, January 15, 2019 for candidates to file for office on the Neosho City Council.
The purpose is to elect two council members to the Neosho City Council on the third Tuesday in the month of April following the General Municipal Election. The terms are as follows: Two candidates for a term of three (3) years.
The General Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019
Petitions for Nomination of Candidate for City Council are available in the Office of the City Clerk located at 203 E. Main, Neosho, Missouri.
