On January 16th, 2019 at 1146 hours, a Jasper PD officer initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Thorn and I-49, Jasper, Missouri.
Contact was made with Joshua Cossel of Golden City, Mo. Cossel was taken into custody for driving while suspended.
A search of Cossel’s person and pockets was conducted. A small plastic container with a plastic baggy with suspected methamphetamine was found on his person.
Cossel was transported to the Jasper County Jail where he was held for driving while suspended and possession of a controlled substance.
Please note: Cossel is presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
