Total snow accumulations of a dusting to 2 inches expected. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas and central, east central, south central, southwest and west central Missouri. Highest snowfall totals will occur in central Missouri, or locations northeast of Springfield.
* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 6 PM CST Saturday. The majority of the snowfall will occur Saturday morning with snow tapering off from west to east Saturday afternoon. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions during the day Saturday as temperatures rapidly drop into the 20s once the snow starts. Visibilities could be reduced in the snow due to very gusty winds. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
