Lamar teen injured in crash on 160

A Lamar teen was injured in a two-vehicle accident 3:25 p.m. Tuesday on U. S. 160, 100 feet west of Lamar.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Isaac P. Sprouls, 17, Lamar, slowed suddenly for a vehicle that was stopped in the roadway to make a left turn.




The Sprouls vehicle stopped and when it accelerated again, it was struck in the rear by a 2006 Dodge Ram driven by Dakota B. Fanning, 16, Lamar.

A passenger in the Sprouls vehicle, Isaac O. Reed, 15, Lamar, was treated for minor injuries at Cox Barton County Hospital, Lamar.
