Joplin man cited for DWI following one-vehicle accident on NN

A Joplin man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 9:40 p.m. Friday on Route NN, two miles south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Jeep Renegade driven by Ronald W. Price, 70, Joplin, ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned down a steep embankment.

Price was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
