Liberal jogger struck by pickup, hospitalized

A Liberal pedestrian was struck by a pickup 7:35 a.m. today on Route K in Liberal.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1998 Chevrolet pickup driven by Bruce L. Barker, 68, Liberal, struck James S. Grey, 44, Liberal, who was jogging on the edge of the roadway.

Grey was treated for moderate injuries at Cox Barton County Hospital, Lamar.
