Woman arrested on Jasper County felony warrants learns valuable lesson- Never give police a fake identity who also has outstanding warrants

(From the Seneca Police Department)

On 2/23/19, Officer Housley initiated a traffic stop for a moving violation. The driver provided a name that came back to a female with two warrants for her arrest.

The driver was arrested on these two warrants. Once the driver got to the Newton County Jail it was determined that she had lied about her identity.

The driver was confirmed to be Ashley England. England had warrants out of Joplin for Obstruction, a felony warrant out of Jasper County for tampering with a motor vehicle and a second felony warrant out of Jasper County for Possession of a controlled substance. The moral to the story is don’t provide a false name to Law Enforcement when that person is wanted.
