A Carthage man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 6:20 p.m. today on I-49, three miles south of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Lincoln MKX driven by Jackie N. Smith, 77, Carthage, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a guard rail.
Smith was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
