Crowder Tech students qualify for state skills conference

(From Crowder College)

Crowder College student participated in the SkillsUSA District competition with several qualifying for the state competition, April 4-6, at State Technical College, Linn, MO.

Students qualify for state by placing in the top two at the district level, with the exception of a few contests that go directly to state. Students from Crowder College’s Technical Education Center who will be participating at the state competition are listed below.

Crowder College Technical Education Center is a member of SkillsUSA and participates in competitions to benefit the student experience.



SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers, high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations.

SkillsUSA is an applied method of instruction for preparing America’s high performance workers in public career and technical programs. They provide quality education experiences for students in leadership, teamwork, citizenship and character development to build and reinforce self-confidence, work attitudes and communications skills.
