Joplin husband, wife, admitted to Freeman with gunshot wounds following domestic dispute

On 04-14-19, at approximately 6 PM deputies were called to Freeman Hospital in regards to two patients, a husband and wife, both suffering from gunshot wounds.

Deputies made contact with a male and female patient, both 62 years of age, and determined that both had suffered mutual gunshot wounds from a domestic violence altercation that occurred at 7829 W. Emerald in Joplin.







Following the incident they drove to the hospital for treatment. The male was wounded in the abdomen area, and the female was wounded in her leg.

Both from single gunshot wounds. Both are still at the hospital receiving treatment. Neither wound is considered life threatening. The investigation continues.

  1. Hopefully they will either quit drinking/doing drugs or get a divorce or all of the above.
    Next time one or both may end up dead.

  2. Actually if you knew them you would know they dont drink or fo drugs! And also one is life threatening gun shot wound. The female has went home not male!!!

    1. Regardless, I would say they need to choose option 3 before it's too late.
      To say they have a Toxic Relationship would be putting it mildly.

  3. I figured when they said shot in the abdomen it would be serious life threatening the media never reports the truth
