Suspect identified in January 11 Duenweg bus stop assault, remains at large

Jasper County Detectives have positively identified the suspect  in the January 11 felony assault at the Duenweg bus station as 47- year-old David L. Bostic of Bellevue, Washington. Charges have been submitted for Bostic and a warrant has been issued for his arrest on the charge of Assault 1st degree. 

If anyone has information about Bostic's whereabouts, contact the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office or your local Law Enforcement agency immediately. 








Bostic has a history of violence and is considered armed and dangerous. Don’t approach him. Bostic has ties to multiple states including Missouri, Utah, Washington, Arkansas and New York. 

January 17, 2024 Update

 The victim has been released from the hospital and is recovering. Detectives have followed up on several tips and the case is still active, we are asking the public for assistance on getting this suspect and vehicle identified.

On 1-11-2024 at approximately 8:45 PM, Jasper County deputies responded to an assault call at the bus station in Duenweg. 








Upon arrival deputies contacted an 18-year-old male from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with severe injuries to his neck. The male was transported to a local hospital and is stable condition with a stab wound to his neck. Detectives are currently working on this case and have released pictures of the unknown suspect and vehicle that was involved in this incident.
