TRAFFIC ALERT: Route 59 Pavement Improvements in McDonald County July 12-19
Where: Missouri Route 59 between McDonald County Route EE and Hillcrest Drive in Lanagan
When: 7 p.m. - 6 a.m., Friday, July 12 through Friday, July 19
What: Contractor crews to add a high-friction pavement treatment to help improve traction at curves. This work is part of a project to add a high-friction pavement treatment to selected curves on various routes in McDonald, Stone, Taney & Vernon Counties. The prime contractor is the Truesdell Corporation, Camdenton.
Traffic Impacts
Traffic reduced to one during nighttime hours on Route 59 between Route EE and Hillcrest Drive in Lanagan where crews are working
Drivers will encounter flaggers directing traffic through the work zone where crews are working
All Route 59 lanes open to traffic during daytime hours and weekends
No signed detours, drivers are urged to find alternate routes
Signs and message boards will alert drivers to work zone
Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule
