Neosho teen airlifted to Freeman following two-vehicle accident

A Neosho teen was airlifted to Freeman West in Joplin with serious injuries following a two-vehicle accident 11:30 a.m. Friday on Old 60 Highway six miles east of Seneca.

According to the Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a 1996 Ford Mustang driven by Sara M. Myers, 18, Neosho, crossed the center line into the path of a 2000 Ford Pickup driven by Jerrod W. Burwell, 20, Seneca.

Burwell was not injured.
