Freeman Health contributes $350,000 for Crowder fieldhouse

The Crowder College Foundation, Athletic Department and Crowder Administration graciously accepted multiple donations towards the construction of Roughrider Fieldhouse.

Freeman Health System presented a check to the Foundation to sponsor the naming of the athletic fieldhouse.

Paula Baker, President and CEO, Freeman Health System, presented the college’s foundation a donation in the amount of $350,000, naming it Freeman Fieldhouse.

In addition to the naming of the facility major donors included Phil and Tiffany Slinkard naming the Reception area ($50,000); Certified Express Inc. (CEI) – Scott & Chris Wade naming the concession area ($35,000); and Beimdiek Insurance with an interior fieldhouse sign ($15,000).

“The Crowder College Foundation is pleased to work in partnership with our patrons, alumni, college administration and the athletic department to see the new Freeman Fieldhouse Project completed. It is exciting to see the financial support that is already pledged. We look forward to working with others who would like to see this additional athletic facility completed in southwest Missouri,” stated Cindy Branscum, Director of Institutional Advancement.
