Two injured in construction zone accident near Neosho

Two people were injured in a construction zone accident 6:40 p.m. Friday on U.S. 60, 4.5 miles west of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1999 Dodge Van driven by Misty D. Flory, 39, Granby, and a 1999 Dodge Van, driver not listed in the report, were stopped in the construction zone when a 1997 Ford F150 driven by Max E. Shelton, 77, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, struck the Flory vehicle, which hit the Dodge Van.

Shelton and a passenger in the Flory vehicle, Zachery I. Graham, 17, Granby, were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
