Two Anderson teens were airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield following a two-vehicle accident 10:30 a.m. Friday on I-49 in Pineville.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a Roy M. Hurst, 48, Houston, Missour, driving a 2014 Chevrolet pickup, lost control and struck a 1991 Isuzu Sidekick driven by Ezra P. Thompson, 19, Anderson, which caught fire.
Anderson and a passenger, Samuel E. Thompson, 17, Anderson, were treated for serious injuries at Mercy.
