Two Carterville men were injured in one-vehicle accident 4:50 p.m. Thursday on Route M, four miles south of Jasper.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Ford Expedition driven by William Z. Ferriter, 19, Carterville, ran off the right side of the road and overturned. A passenger who was not wearing a seat belt, Glenn D. Briggs, 21, Jasper, was thrown out of a window.
Briggs was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital. Ferriter was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
